I was hoping that Simon had stayed, after his many threats to leave. I found him as I walked into the hospital, just after he had been treated.
He said he wanted me to take some pictures.
The burns look a lot better than Tues. All the white stuff is just treatment to sooth and heal the burns.

oh Simon.......no words to express the sadness I feel for him....because of the physical pain he has endured...but more for his broken spirit that led him to lose hope and do this to himself.
I wish you had known him a few years ago....there was no boy in Kitale that was brighter, happier and more hopeful that he could have a good life.
.................so, so, sad.
