PE

Today was my first day back at Kitale Forest to teach P.E.since we get back from Kakuma earlier this week...Honestly, I couldn't wait. I have been looking forward to it since last week...

John Bocso's...it's a beautiful school.

They had exams today so we didnt get to have the normal PE schedule, so instead I helped conduct their tests, monitor the classroom for cheating, and grade exams. In between when there was free time I would start a game of soccer for whichever class was on break...
They got out of school at lunch because of exams so after school a soccer game was organized at a primary school called John Bosco. It was to be a joint team between the house boys and Oasis street boys against the Jon Bosco boys...

After we ate lunch we took Boda Bodas to John Bosco Primary, yikes, I thought I would be used to them after Kakuma, but that quickly faded when we almost ate it 4 times...

Martin

I love this kid. His name is Charles and he lives on the street in Kitale, but he comes to Oasis everyday to learn and works so hard, he's a really good kid, I hope he will do well and improve enough to make it to school someday...I freaking love his smile. It took me four shots to get him to smile because he is shy about the gap...

The Mose' smile

Timo has a great smile, I just caught him off guard

Steward looked so funny in his hat. It was supposed to be attached to his jacket but he took it apart and wore it this way.

Justus and Johnstone

Today was such a long day and Im so tired, but not at all in a bad way. I left the house @ 8:30AM and didnt get home till after 10PM. But its all good because even though Fridays are one of my longest days of the week work wise, I couldn't be happier, it's one of the days I look forward to the most. I get energized by the boys and the students and just being at the school.

An update to this post...Lydia asked and important question I can't believe I forgot to answer, the game was a tie...0-0...it was well fought for I have to add...Phoebe is not going to be happy about the stench and stains in the uniforms...
