Safari Njema

We just got home from dropping Chris off at the airport. He's on the first leg of his trip home. Sadness, for us at least...Safari Njema Chris.

Diana and Allison, I just want to thank you for being(what I am sure now life long) such good friends to Chris. My sister's and I would read your posts to keep up on all the news. It's not that we did not enjoy Chris' posts but you two always gave us so much more detail that girl's want to see and hear. I just read how you dropped him off at the airport and I am so thrilled he is on his way home but sad for you and the children. I know Chris will be back in the near future as well as yourselves. I could see the Lord working through all of you in each of your pictures and posts.

I hope to meet both of you someday. You are in my prayers each night. Stay safe and thank you again.

Love,
Theresa

Hey Daina,
I know this will be a rough transition because Chris IS such a presence, but...

I believe God has HUGE things in store for you in your next days ahead in Kitale.

Much of that will be YOUR choice of focus...what's missing or what's left...
It doesn't dishonor Chris to rededicate yourself, during your missing of him as a teammate, to the work ahead.

I love and honor you and Alli and Andrew and the Ukes for your servant hearts and your selfless actions.
Congo was crazy.
